The Detroit Dirty Show is a great place to exhibit your original erotic art work. And if you have erotic prints to sell,  the  "Erotic Print Store" is a great way to sell them.

The Erotic Print Store features artwork that is both erotic and marketable, packed and priced to sell.

You don't need to have art work juried into the Dirty Show to sell your work through the Erotic Print Store, although it is advantageous to have  exposure in both places.

The presentation and packaging of your prints is important. Matted work and  unmounted prints that have a backing board and are protected by a clear shrink film or bag will be acceptable. Some framed work will be considered as well, and must be wired and ready to hang.

Don’t send multiple copies of the same image unless you know it’s a great seller, and then use moderation. It's usually best to choose a selection of strong images and price and present them well. If you’ve had work in past dirty shows that has sold, consider reproductions or similar items for the store. We’ve gotten a lot of requests for work by past artists. Price it to sell.

If you don't already have your work prepared for sale, check out ClearBags.com. They offer a wide range of sizes of archival bags and backing materials for photographs and artwork. (I highly recommend using the protective bags and precut foam core or recycled acid free board for backing).

Artists and their models who will be in attendance are encouraged to come by during the show and help out at the store. Most buyers love to talk to the artists whose work they admire. Simply talking to people about your work can really help sales.

There is a 40% sales commission on all work sold through the store, but no additional registration fees. All shipped work must come with a prepaid return shipping arrangement. All submitted work is bound by the same terms as the 2012 Detroit Dirty Show.
